| Q. | When will on-line registration be open and available. |

| A. | We anticipate on-line registration to be open the middle of March, although keep an eye on the website in case it opens earlier. |
| Q. | Can someone pick up my registration package if I can not attend? |
| A. | Yes, a registered rider of the 2012 CA State H.O.G. Rally may pick up your package, although they can not pick up your wristband. You must provide the person picking up your package with your Official Rally Guide or California Passes Passport in exchange for your package. |
| Q. | Is the rally responsible for mailing my package if I can't attend. |
| A. | No, the rally is not responsible to for mailing your package if you can not pick your package up or if you are unable to find somebody to pick it up for you. If you are willing to send a check for postage, the rally can mail your package to you. |
| Q. | What happens if I have mechanical problems with my bike, will there be dealers to assist? |
| A. | The route of the rally passes by no less than 6 dealerships along the or near the rally route. We are sure that one of the Dealerships will be able to assist you. |
| Q. | What if I arrive at one of the rally check-in points and registration is closed? |
| A. | All pre-registered riders will have an Official Rally Guide and Passport and this will allow you to attend any events along the route until you can check in and obtain your wristband. |
| Q. | Once I've pre-registered, am I eligible for a refund? |
| A. | No. We are sorry but all pre-registered fees are non-refundable. Unclaimed rally packages will not be mailed. If you are unable to attend the rally, send your Official Rally Guide and Passport with a friend and they will be allowed to pick up your packet. |
| Q. | Can I book a hotel before the rally starts or after in Sacramento, will my prices be the same. |
| A. | Most hotels are honoring the same pricing for booking early and staying later at their respective hotels. Contact Hotel Bell (Lodging page) for details of this service to determine if your requested hotel will honor pricing for early or late stays. |
| Q. | Are there any fun things to do before or after the rally. |
| A. | Yes, the rally starts in Santa Maria, California where many great roads exist. Come early and ride and have fun. Sacramento, as the state capitol of California will have many fun things to do after the rally. |
| Q. | Where can I obtain information specifically about the Rally schedule. |
| A. | The Rally schedule is noted on the website and is updated often. Check the Rally Detail page for more information. |
| Q. | Is there a Hot Tub and Pool included in the price registration. |
| A. | After ride activities at hotels are not controlled by the Rally. Therefore, if this is important to you we recommend you choose wisely. |
| Q. | Will there be a limit to the number of registrations which the rally will take? |
| A. | If possible, please pre-register early so that both the Rally Committee and the Dealerships involved can plan better. There is a limit to the number of riders which the final location can handle. |
| Q. | How many locations are available for a rider to check in at along the touring route? |
| A. | There are four locations where riders can join the touring ride: Santa Maria, Visalia, Mammoth Lakes and Sacramento. |
| Q. | If I join the touring ride at the second, third or four stop will the registration cost be less? |
| A. | No. |
| Q. | If I chose to volunteer for the ride at any point am I required to register for the rally? |
| A. | Yes. However, volunteers will be offered a reduced cost for helping with the rally and may not pay anything depending upon the location they are volunteering at. Check with our Volunteer Coordinator for the specific details. |
| Q. | Can I volunteer and also ride on the ride? |
| A. | Yes. However, you would be required to register as a rider to do so. |
| Q. | Can I become involved in the California Passes Game without registering. |
| A. | You must be a registered California State H.O.G. Rally participant in order to have an California Passes Passport and play the game. |
| Q. | Which Passes are involved with in the California Passes Game? |
| A. | All Passes which are involved will be posted on the Rides page of the website. |
| Q. | Which Dealerships are involved with in the California Passes Game as Bonus Points? |
| A. | All participating dealerships who are involved will be posted on the Rides page of the website. |
| Q. | Who is responsible for obtaining hotel reservations, rally or individual? |
| A. | Each rider is responsible for obtaining their own reservations for each of the locations along the route. Lodging and hotel information is available on the website, when on-line registration opens. We recommend you obtain your hotels early as hotels book up quickly. |
| Q. | Is California a Helmet Law State? |
| A. | Yes, California requires both a rider and passenger to wear helmets regardless of age. |
| Q. | Where can I register? |
| A. | You may register on-line at www.castatehogrally.com. Flyers will be available at one of your local Harley-Davidson dealerships which will allow you to mail in your pre-registration. Don't forget that pre-registration closes the first part of August. |
